Suspect in South Africa student’s murder killed in police shootout

A suspect linked to the murder of South African university student Olorato Mongale was killed in a police shootout. Mongale’s body was discovered in Lombardy, north of Johannesburg, shortly after she was reported missing following a date. The unidentified suspect was located in Amanzimtoti, where he engaged in a gunfight with police officers who ultimately shot him dead during the confrontation.
