Judge authorizes Tim Hortons Roll Up to Win class action — but only for Quebec customers

Superior Court Justice Donald Bisson has allowed a class action lawsuit against Tim Hortons to proceed, but it is restricted to Quebec residents due to the reliance on the province’s consumer protection laws. In 2024, numerous Canadian customers received emails claiming they had won a boat, attributed by Tim Hortons to a technical error.
