Berlin Marathon: Sawe and Wanjiru Win for Kenya

Kenya achieved a clean sweep at the Berlin Marathon, with Sabastian Sawe winning the men’s race in 2:02:16 and Rosemary Wanjiru claiming victory in the women’s race with a time of 2:21:05. Sawe, who aimed for the world record but fell short, was followed by Japan’s Akasaki Akira and Ethiopia’s Chimdessa Debele, while Wanjiru outpaced Ethiopia’s Dera Dida and Azmera Gebru.
