Body returned from Gaza is not Shiri Bibas, Israeli military says

Israel has accused Hamas of violating a ceasefire deal by returning a body from Gaza that was not Shiri Bibas, who was kidnapped along with her two children during Hamas attacks in October 2023. The bodies of her sons Ariel and Kfir, as well as peace activist Oded Lifshitz, were identified by the Israel Defense Forces. The exchange of hostages’ bodies was part of a ceasefire agreement, with talks ongoing for the release of remaining hostages and prisoners.
