A South African man, Matthew Gruter, had his visa revoked after participating in a neo-Nazi rally outside the New South Wales parliament, where he was seen among about 60 men holding an anti-Jewish banner. Gruter, a senior member of the National Socialist Network, has been in Australia since 2022 and works as a civil engineer. Australia’s Home Affairs Minister emphasized that visa holders must not promote hatred. The rally, which included chants linked to the Hitler Youth, was legally authorized and lasted under 20 minutes.
