Man wants to buy tip where he lost Bitcoin fortune

Computer engineer James Howells, who lost £620m in Bitcoin, wants to buy the landfill where he believes his hard drive containing 8,000 bitcoins is buried. His attempt to sue Newport council for access or compensation was dismissed by a judge. Despite the council’s plan to close the landfill for a solar farm, Howells is considering purchasing it and appealing the court’s decision.
