The City of Ekurhuleni welcomed over 1,700 new recruits through the EPEP and EPWP programmes at Germiston Stadium, with Mayor Xhakaza committing to employing 3,000 locals. The city aims to foster growth and development through these initiatives, providing essential skills and work opportunities to address unemployment and promote social development, benefiting 7,000 residents since 2021.
