Metrics used included median home price, affordability ratio, and home appreciation rate. Other cities on the list were Fort Wayne, Indiana; Chesapeake, Virginia; Virginia Beach, Virginia; and Gilbert, Arizona, with the worst cities being in California and New Jersey.
