A 15-year-old boy, Christoforos Nicolaou, tragically took his own life after being blackmailed and psychologically tormented by an anonymous predator on a dark web forum. The teenager was lured in with the promise of free in-game credits, tricked into giving personal details, and threatened to harm his family if he did not complete online challenges. His grieving parents, George and Areti, have launched the Christoforos Charity Foundation (CCF) to raise awareness about the hidden dangers of online gaming and cyberbullying, urging parents to be vigilant about their children’s online activities.
