In the coming days, Chicago will embrace the Christmas spirit with the return of beloved traditions like the Christkindlmarket, The Wintrust Magnificent Mile Lights Festival, and the official Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony. The Christkindlmarket offers a festive atmosphere with food, drinks, gifts, and unique shopping experiences at Daley Plaza and RiverEdge Park. The city’s official Christmas tree, donated by the Holden-Shaddick family, will be lit on Friday evening at Millennium Park, while the Wintrust Magnificent Mile Lights Festival promises a joy-filled parade with Santa Claus, musical celebrities, and one million lights illuminating the Magnificent Mile.
