Christine Quinn’s husband has officially filed for divorce, according to court documents obtained by Entertainment Tonight. Christian Dumontet filed for divorce from the Selling Sunset star in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Friday, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their breakup. Interestingly, Christian claimed in the documents that they actually got married in 2021, not in 2019 as previously believed. Their wedding ceremony was filmed for Season 3 of Selling Sunset, but he suggests they actually tied the knot two years later, meaning they have only been married for nearly three years instead of five.
In the divorce petition, Christian requested sole legal and physical custody of their 2-year-old son Christian Georges, while allowing Christine visitation rights. He is not seeking spousal support but wants the court to terminate her ability to seek it from him. The couple’s assets and property are to be determined by the court.
Christine was granted a temporary restraining order against Christian after he was arrested for throwing a bag with a glass bottle in it at her, which ended up hitting their son. She had reportedly been planning to file for divorce following the incident, but Christian beat her to it.
