In a major new survey from the Pew Research Center, it was found that the Christian population in the United States has stabilized after years of decline, with 62% of adults identifying as Christian. The number of religiously unaffiliated Americans has also leveled off. The survey also shows a convergence of religiosity among young adults, with a smaller gender gap in religious beliefs and practices, possibly influenced by conservative political identity.
