Chinese ‘flying car’ with foldable drone-like helicopter that pops out of the boot prepares for the skies

Xpeng Aero HT, a Chinese start-up, has unveiled the Land Aircraft Carrier, a modular flying car with a foldable eVTOL helicopter that pops out of the back on demand. The vehicle features a ground module with off-road capabilities and an air module with rotor blades for manual and autonomous flight modes. With over 3,000 intent orders received, the Land Aircraft Carrier is set to enter mass production later this year with a price tag below $300,000, initially available only in China.
