Chinese firms supporting Russia are posing as Taiwanese companies to avoid sanctions and tarnish Taiwan’s reputation, according to Ukrainian activist Vadym Labas. Labas initially accused Taiwan Rung Cherng Suspenparts (TRC) of supplying servomechanisms for Russian glide bombs, but later clarified that a Chinese company was using TRC’s name without authorization. TRC’s deputy general manager, Chen Shu-Mei, denied any business ties with Russia and may pursue legal action to protect the company’s reputation amidst escalating conflict in Ukraine involving Russian glide bombs.
