SINGAPORE: China has congratulated Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong and the ruling People’s Action Party (PAP) on their victory in the recent 2025 General Election. China expressed its intent to strengthen relations and enhance cooperation. Other countries, including the US and regional neighbors, also congratulated Wong and the PAP, who secured 87 out of 97 seats and increased their vote share significantly.
