A five-star hotel in central London, the Chiltern Firehouse, has been closed indefinitely after a massive blaze broke out, requiring 125 firefighters and 20 fire engines to respond. The luxury hotel, located in Marylebone, was packed with customers before Valentine’s Day service when the fire started in the ducting leading to the roof. Around 100 people were evacuated as firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze, which started in a plant room at roof level.
