Chicago cop killed Enrique Martinez to be laid to rest at funeral – NBC Chicago

The funeral service for fallen CPD officer Enrique Martinez, who was fatally shot during a traffic stop, will be streamed live on NBC 5 and Telemundo Chicago in both Spanish and English. The service will be held at St. Rita of Cascia Shrine Chapel in Chicago, with Mayor Brandon Johnson and Gov. J.B. Pritzker not attending at the family’s request. The man accused of Martinez’s murder, Darian McMillian, was on electronic monitoring and had prior felony convictions, facing charges including murder and possession of a machine gun.
