Courtney Cronin, a veteran ESPN reporter, has confirmed that Eric Bieniemy has been hired by the Chicago Bears as their running backs coach. Bieniemy, who previously coached at UCLA and the Washington Commanders, has a history of success in the NFL, including two Super Bowl wins with the Kansas City Chiefs. He joins Dennis Allen, who was hired as the Bears’ defensive coordinator, on Ben Johnson’s coaching staff in Chicago.
