Celtic may face a Uefa fine over a banner displayed by fans during the Champions League play-off first leg against Bayern Munich, which read ‘Show Israel the red card’. The control, ethics and disciplinary committee will assess reports to determine if the banner contained a political, provocative, or offensive message. Despite a previous disciplinary notice from Uefa, Celtic fans avoided a ban for the second leg in Munich after holding up red sheets of paper in protest.
