Helene Wilson, a successful coach in New Zealand women’s high performance sport, has taken on a voluntary role coaching the men’s netball team, the Net Blacks, to champion diversity and inclusion in the sport. Despite a challenging start with a heavy loss to the Australian men’s team, Wilson is excited to work with the open-minded players and bring her experience to help them grow. She is committed to providing the men’s team with a supportive and inclusive environment, aiming to elevate men’s netball alongside the women’s game in New Zealand.
