Holders Wigan Warriors are set to face Sheffield Eagles in the third round as they kick off their men’s Challenge Cup title defence, following their victory over Warrington Wolves in last season’s final. The 2025 season marks the first time all 12 Super League clubs will enter from the third-round stage, with top-flight teams playing away at seeded lower division sides who have advanced from the second round. The third round is scheduled for the weekend of 8 and 9 February, one week before the start of the Super League season, with the final set to take place at Wembley Stadium on June 7.
