In a chairlift accident at the Spanish Astún ski resort in the Pyrenees, at least 30 people were injured, with nine in critical condition and eight moderately injured. Approximately 80 individuals were left stranded on the chairlift, with the cause of the incident still unknown. Helicopters are currently on site rescuing those trapped and transporting the injured to nearby hospitals, with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez expressing shock and offering support to the affected individuals and their families.
