Israel Deports Greta Thunberg and 170 Gaza Flotilla Activists

Swedish activist Greta Thunberg was deported from Israel after being detained with 171 foreign activists attempting to breach the blockade of Gaza on a flotilla. The Israeli government, which described the flotilla as a “PR stunt,” has deported a total of 341 activists, amidst allegations of mistreatment during detention, which Israel denies, while the UN calls for the blockade to be lifted due to a humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
