Arctic Monkeys’ drummer, Matt Helders, has affirmed that the band will continue to make music despite rumors that their latest song, “Opening Night,” could be their last. This track is their first release since the 2022 album “The Car” and is part of a charity album. Helders shared with BBC Radio 1 that joining the project was an “easy yes,” and while there are no immediate plans for new recordings, he emphasized their love for making music together.
