DR Congo’s would-be saint murdered ‘mafia style’ for refusing bribes

Floribert Bwana Chui Bin Kositi, a 26-year-old customs official in Goma, DRC, was brutally murdered in 2007 for refusing bribes and standing against corruption. Recently beatified by the Catholic Church, his legacy of love and justice continues through initiatives like the “Schools of Peace,” which he helped establish to support street children in the region.
