Charles “Abbey” Mwesigwa, the alleged leader of a sex-trade ring exploiting vulnerable women in Dubai, has been detained following a BBC investigation where he was recorded offering women for parties at $1,000 each. While he denies the allegations, claiming he merely helps women find jobs, the Ugandan embassy confirms ongoing investigations into human trafficking, and a red notice has been issued for his extradition.
