Nicholas Prosper pleaded guilty to murdering his mother and two siblings in Luton and also confessed to planning a mass shooting at a local school. Police discovered a loaded shotgun with over 30 cartridges hidden in a bush after his arrest. Fortunately, he was apprehended before carrying out the school attack. Prosper is due to be sentenced on 5 March and is currently on remand at HMP Peterborough. Schools in the area are reviewing their security measures in response to the tragic incident.
