A couple, Raphael Ossai and Oluwakemi Olasanoye, were questioned at Manchester Airport after suspicious behavior towards a baby named Lucy, who was later found to be unrelated to them. Lucy, born in Nigeria and placed in an orphanage, has been in care for nearly two years as the High Court investigates her true identity and future. Despite Ossai’s claims of paternal affection, DNA tests confirmed Lucy’s lack of relation to him or Olasanoye, raising concerns about her welfare and potential cultural dislocation if adopted by a white family.
