Police have seized over a thousand luxury clothing items from Toronto lawyers Singa Bui and her husband Nicholas Cartel, who are under investigation for fraud, possession of the proceeds of crime, and laundering. This investigation follows the disappearance of more than $7 million from their clients’ trust account. Both lawyers have been provisionally suspended and ordered jailed for failing to comply with court orders related to the embezzlement case.
