Cape Verde has qualified for the FIFA 2026 World Cup, becoming the second-smallest nation to do so after Iceland, by defeating Eswatini 3-0 in their final group match.
Cape Verde finished Group D with 23 points, ahead of Cameroon, and will join nine other African teams in the tournament next year, marking their first-ever World Cup appearance.
