An independent report into the Olympic drone-spying scandal involving members of the Canadian women’s soccer team coaching staff revealed a culture of improper surveillance that predated the Paris Olympics. As a result, head coach Bev Priestman, assistant coach Jasmine Mander, and analyst Joey Lombardi will not be returning, with disciplinary action pending against former coach John Herdman. Canada Soccer is implementing organizational changes based on the report by Sonia Regenbogen, although the full 400-page report was not released to the public.
