Call for PM to step in over minister’s carbon trading conflict of interest

Rural Communities and Associate Agriculture Minister Mark Patterson faces a conflict of interest regarding Cabinet discussions on carbon markets, as per the Cabinet Office’s list. Patterson will not receive papers or partake in decisions related to Emissions Trading Scheme settings from August 14, 2024. He is evasive about addressing questions on the matter.
