Nearly 4,000 people have been evacuated from their homes in Lake County due to a fire that has destroyed 30 structures and covered 75 acres, with only 10 percent contained as of Sunday afternoon. The blaze, known as the Boyles Fire, began as a vegetation fire in Clearlake near Dam Road and Boyles Avenue, prompting evacuation orders for areas inside of HWY 53 in Clearlake.
