A group of 12 neurodiverse students from Appleford School in Shrewton, Wiltshire, will embark on a 1,000-mile cycle challenge from John O’Groats to Lands End starting June 19. Aged 14 to 16, these students, who face challenges like dyslexia and ADHD, aim to demonstrate their capability to achieve remarkable feats, cycling 70 to 80 miles daily. Teacher Mark Ball praised their enthusiasm and determination, noting the significant educational struggles many have overcome, and highlighting their hard work during training sessions.
