The Fab Four – Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr – are not reuniting, but instead will be portrayed by heartthrobs Paul Mescal, Harris Dickinson, Joseph Quinn, and Barry Keoghan in a 2028 film directed by Sir Sam Mendes. The goal is to evoke the same hysteria as 1960s Beatlemania, but this time aimed at Gen Z with their social media following and fan fervor. Mescal, in particular, is compared to the Beatles in terms of his viral popularity and ability to excite fans.
