Students upset by sea deaths help rescue migrants

Students at Atlantic College, including Efa and Finlay, are training with the charity Atlantic Pacific International Rescue to help rescue migrants at sea after being upset by the high number of deaths. Founder Robin Jenkins states that the Mediterranean Sea is filled with tragedies, and misinformation contributes to the dangerous journeys migrants undertake. The students are learning boat building and sea rescue techniques to provide assistance to those in distress, with the aim of addressing the ongoing refugee crisis.
