McFly star Tom Fletcher expressed “overwhelming excitement” about working on the new Paddington stage musical, set to open on 1 November at the Savoy Theatre in the West End. He hopes his music and lyrics will “do Paddington proud,” describing them as “my favourite songs I’ve ever written.” The musical, developed over five years, is based on Michael Bond’s original novels and follows Paddington’s journey from Peru to find a new home in London.
