Trump to pardon reality TV couple after daughter’s Fox News interview

US President Donald Trump announced he will issue a pardon for reality TV stars Todd and Julie Chrisley, who were convicted of tax evasion and fraud involving over $36 million. The couple, known from the show “Chrisley Knows Best,” was sentenced to 12 and 7 years in prison, respectively, after being found guilty in a 2022 trial for submitting false documents to banks and hiding income. Their daughter, Savannah Chrisley, has publicly defended them, claiming their prosecution was politically motivated and similar to the charges against Trump himself.
