RSF Accused of Concealing Mass Killings in el-Fasher
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Sudan’s paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have been accused of attempting to conceal mass killings in el-Fasher by burying and burning bodies, according to Yale’s Humanitarian Research Lab (HRL). After capturing the city in October, the RSF drew international condemnation for executing civilians and committing crimes against humanity. Satellite imagery analysis indicates ongoing efforts to destroy evidence of these killings, with tens of thousands of bodies likely disposed of. The UN describes the situation as the world’s worst humanitarian disaster, with approximately 250,000 people still trapped in el-Fasher.
