Raducanu ends coaching trial with Platenik after two weeks

Emma Raducanu has ended her coaching trial with Vladimir Platenik after just two weeks, citing that the relationship wasn’t heading in the right direction. Platenik, who had been training with Raducanu, was absent from her coaching box during her Miami Open first-round win. Raducanu, who won in straight sets against Sayaka Ishii, will now face Emma Navarro in the second round with Jane O’Donoghue and Colin Beecher in her coaching box.
