The Ivory Coast returns to the World Cup finals for the first time since 2014, achieving an impressive feat of not conceding a goal during their 10-game group campaign, alongside Tunisia. They join Senegal, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Algeria, Ghana, Cape Verde, and South Africa, with one additional team to be determined from upcoming continental play-offs for the expanded 48-team tournament.
