Police launch investigation into MP Rupert Lowe

The Metropolitan Police is investigating Reform UK MP Rupert Lowe over alleged verbal threats against party chairman Zia Yusuf, which Lowe denies. The investigation was launched after Reform reported Lowe on March 6th, with the police clarifying that the threats were made between December 2024 and February 2025. Lowe, who is also accused of workplace bullying, claims the allegations are politically motivated and retaliation for his criticism of Reform leader Nigel Farage.
