Girl, 10, killed by car on pitch wanted to be pro football player

Poppy Atkinson, a 10-year-old girl with dreams of becoming a professional footballer, was tragically killed by a car while playing football at Kendal Rugby Club in Cumbria. Described by her family as a “force of nature”, Poppy’s love for the sport touched many lives, and she was determined to play for Manchester United.
