Local police noted that this mallard may be a repeat offender, as a similar duck was recorded at the same speed and location in 2018. Despite speculation about the incident being an April Fool’s joke, authorities confirmed the integrity of the radar images, leading to playful public comments about potential penalties for the “notorious racer.”
