Proposed motorway tolls for Warkworth to Te Hana as public consultation begins

A tolling proposal for the new motorway section connecting Warkworth and Te Hana, part of the Northland Corridor in New Zealand, is under formal consultation. The NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi suggests charges between $1.50 and $4.50 per journey. This 26km route will include a twin-bore tunnel and three interchanges, with detailed design and construction expected to begin by year’s end. Public submissions on the tolling plan are open until April 15.
