At least 55 people died when a bus fell from a bridge and into a gorge near Guatemala City, with 53 bodies recovered at the scene and two more confirmed dead at a nearby hospital. The bus, which came from Progreso, was involved in a multi-vehicle crash that caused it to plunge 115 feet into a sewage-polluted stream, leaving it upside down and half-submerged.
