Bureau of Meteorology Revises Website After User Feedback

The Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) has reversed its recent website update, reinstating the default rain view after users expressed dissatisfaction with the changes. The new site, launched on October 31, faced significant criticism for its confusing layout and lack of clarity during storms. Acting CEO Peter Stone stated that the previous radar color scheme has been restored in response to community feedback, with ongoing improvements planned. Users will now have the option to view rain data as either rain reflectivity (dBZ) or in millimeters per hour (mm/h).
