The gross GST collection increased by 7.3 percent YoY to Rs 1.77 lakh crore in December, with CGST at Rs 32,836 crore, SGST at Rs 40,499 crore, IGST at Rs 47,783 crore, and Cess at Rs 11,471 crore. Domestic transactions saw an 8.4 percent growth to Rs 1.32 lakh crore, while imports tax revenue rose about 4 percent to Rs 44,268 crore. After adjusting refunds, net GST collection grew by 3.3 percent to Rs 1.54 lakh crore, with the highest-ever collection recorded in April 2024 at over Rs 2.10 lakh crore.
