The Bruins have signed Cornell forward Dalton Bancroft to a one-year entry-level contract for the 2025-26 season with an NHL salary cap hit of $950,000. The 24-year-old Bancroft, a top undrafted college free agent, will report to Providence and play on an amateur tryout contract for the remainder of the season. Bancroft scored 15 goals and 27 points in his junior season at Cornell, totaling 79 points over 103 career games and is known for his high motor and physicality as a bottom-six forward prospect.
