Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson underwent a second surgery to repair his right Achilles tendon rupture, which he initially tore in October and re-injured during a recent setback in his rehab. Browns GM Andrew Berry stated that Watson’s recovery time and return to play status for the 2025 season are uncertain, potentially leading the team to draft a new quarterback with the No. 2 overall pick. Despite a contract restructure, Watson has struggled with injuries since joining the Browns, finishing two consecutive seasons on the injured list.
