Browns GM Andrew Berry stated that Watson’s recovery time and return to play status for the 2025 season are uncertain, potentially leading the team to draft a new quarterback with the No. 2 overall pick. Despite a contract restructure, Watson has struggled with injuries since joining the Browns, finishing two consecutive seasons on the injured list.
